Easily Bruised Skin Causes & Treatment Options

Skin changes and bruising are among the most visible signs of aging. Other evidence of increasing age includes face sagging skin and unwanted (especially by women) easily noticeable dark skin spots and facial wrinkles. Skin changes over the years are closely related to genetics, environment, nutrition and other factors.
The most significant factor for skin damage and easy bruising is sun exposure (with aspirin and blood thinners also being major contributing factors). This can be seen by comparing areas of your body that have regular sun exposure with areas that are protected from sunlight. Natural pigments provide some protection against sun-caused skin damage, with blue-eyed, blond or red headed, and fair-skinned people show more skin changes and skin damage vs people with darker, more heavily pigmented skin.
Changes in the skin tissues reduce the skin’s strength and skin elasticity, which is much more obvious in a body’s sun exposed areas. Skin elastosis causes leathery, weather-beaten skin appearance common to construction workers, farmers, sailors, and others who spend lots of time outdoors.
Blood vessels near the skins surface may become fragile, which leads to skin bruising, which is basically a result of bleeding under the skin. Glands make less oil as you age. Men experience a comparative minor decrease in oil and mostly after age 80. However, women gradually produce less oil beginning at a much younger age, usually by their late 40′s or early 50s). Reduced natural oils can make it harder to keep the skin moist, resulting in dry skin and itchiness.

About Green Couches & Ancient Sea Creatures

There are a couple things we have been wondering about regarding both ancient sea creatures and green couches so I posted this on a third partiy site but it was immediatey automatically rejected by the blog as being spam (which it is not) so am posting it here since some readers may find it interesting.
Since at the time we were in the process of purchasing the domain name GreenCouches.com we were doing research about green couches so this was mainly about “Green Couches” which were discussed on that web site.
We asked if the term green couches refers to both the color of the couch and in addition, it being manufactured from non-toxic materials? Also, can a non-toxic couch be called a “green couch” if it’s a different color such as tan or brown for example, or is it usually in-fact green in color?
Another subject of interest is wanting to learn about is what was unique about that website as far as the design goes since it was said the site is somehow similar to ancient sea creatures which have spiral shapes? That was regarding the interesting sea creature picture and the statement: “a fossil of ammonite, an extinct ancient sea creature, which is often used as an “index fossil” to link the rock layer in which they are found to specific geological time periods.
How does a website possibly embody the basic shape of the spiral, a growth pattern used throughout nature because it allows the organism to grow at a constant rate without having to change shape (as does the structure upon which this that site was built)?
Do any readers of DavidGreen.com blog have any thoughts about how the spiral natural shape of the ancient sea creature fossils (pictured below) could somehow be related to making good websites?
New Oxygen Therapy For Migraine Headaches

Headaches are common for most all of us but migraines and cluster headaches are a serious medical condition. It’s difficult for doctors to help with migraine headache relief except for a few prescription drugs and injections with the drug sumatriptan, but frequent use of the drugs are not recommended because of potential serious drug side-effects.
Medical researchers have discovered oxygen appears to be an effective treatment for serious headaches. People with cluster headaches can have as many as eight headaches per day, with the ongoing headache bouts lasting for weeks at a time, or even months. Oxygen can be a more or less natural cure for migraine and cluster headaches.
Oxygen therapy is used by more and more headache pain sufferers looking for a better and non-toxic more natural solution to ongoing severe headaches. The oxygen may be administered at anytime and most anywhere, especially if the high flow oxygen comes from a portable source such as oxygen in a can. We are working toward making “oxygen in a can” for home headache relief and treatment available thru this web site soon.
Any comments you have about headaches would be most appreciated, which we could also add to our site since we are looking for personal feedback. You can visit OxygenForHeadaches website by going to Oxygen For Headaches now, or clicking-on the picture below…

Today is July 11, 2010, or 7-11-10 which is an extremely lucky date what with the 7-11 good luck aspect, combined with the year ending in 10 and 10 considered to be the best possible natural number.
To celebrate 7-11-10 we have made a new website about green couches, green chairs and other green furniture and home furnishings, which are not necessarily always green in color. A green couch and other green furniture is also environmentally friendly, green friendly, eco-friendly and nature friendly. Buying green-friendly home products helps the planet and also promotes the use of green sources of energy.
Green-friendly and eco-friendly home furnishings may be a green color but can also be done in other colors in addition to green, and preferably made from green-friendly and non-toxic furniture manufacturing methods.
GreenCouches.com would greatly appreciate any relevant feedback or comments you may have about green couches, green chairs or any other green-friendly home products which we could also add to the website since we are looking for green home products and green freindly furniture opinions to expand the new site, which you can visit by going to GreenCouches.com now by clicking the picture below:

One of our most visited websites is WSPN.COM where we are working on developing a Women’s Sports Network, which is the main acronym meaning of WSPN. In addition to the women’s sports network relevancy there are nine other usage categories you will see on the left side of the wspn.com web-page.
We are offering you an opportunity to get your name published on the Internet plus a link to your Facebook page or to your own website if you can contribute some relevant content for wspn.com (which we can re-publish on our site) about women’s sports, or the rapidly growing in popularity game of “Netball” or any other acronym definitions, including other popular women’s sports.
Netball is fast becoming one of the most popular women’s sports in the world. Netball is a new type of basketball type of sport which is being played by more than 20 million people (believed to be mostly by women and girls) thruout the world. Netball is similar to basketball although there is no ball dribbling, the netball and basket are slightly smaller, there is no backboard and players are assigned to pre-determined areas of the court.
The same and sport of Netball is fast and lots of fun, with some basic skill making it even better of course, and can be played by women and girls of all ages, sizes and skill levels. You do not necessarily need to be tall, athletic or quick to play Netball as is required in the case of regular basketball.
Netball gives a lot more women and girls a chance to participate in a relatively new but fast growing sport which relies more on teamwork than natural physical skills and height. More information about Netball and other women’s sports can be found on the wspn.com sports web site.
We would appreciate any comments you have about WSPN.COM which feedback we could also add to our web site as we are looking for sports, in particular popular womens sport feedback to expand the wspn.com site, which website you can visit by clicking-on the picture below to visit WSPN now.
About Teenage Children’s Issues, including Acne

Over the July 4th weekend we have been working on one of our growing group of children’s and kids websites, including our teenage childrens site. Added some dynamic new features, including Amazon affiliate program products (see the Amazon product graphic below), plus new images and links plus more work on the website content.
The teenage children site covers misc teen issues including teenage acne, teen health, smoking and depression. Acne is one of the most common problems in teenagers affecting almost 20-million teens in the USA. Having acne can be extremely depressing for teens and cause their self-worth and self-esteem to become poor.
Acne is a skin disorder involving glands and hair follicles. Acne results from the clogging of glands leading to the formation of pimples and cysts. The condition usually begins with the onset of puberty in kids as young as the pre-teen years. As teens reach puberty the androgens also known as sex hormones are produced in high numbers leading to glands becoming over-active, which results in sebum being produced in high proportions and acne rosacea setting in.
If the hair follicles are partially blocked it results in blackheads and when the follicles are totally blocked they become whiteheads. Untreated, they eventually burst causing the oil, bacteria and skin cells to spill all over the skin resulting in irritation and formation of acne pimples. Acne can be very near the skin surface or deep in the skin, depending on the nature of the teenagers skin and oil produced.
There are several known causes why Acne Rosacea starts in teenage children. In addition to rising hormone levels due to puberty it can also be blamed on factors such as intake of drugs which contain lithium, barbiturates and corticosteroids. Acne can also be caused due to excess grease and oil in the scalp, due to cooking oil and use of some cosmetics. Acne rosacea problems sometimes can be inherited too so in taht case diet and health are not a major factor.
If you can contribute a reviews or comments about teenagers and our teenage children web site it will be most welcome and appreciated. You can visit it by going to Teenage Children now, or clicking-on the picture below:

Hiccups Organization for Hiccups Tips & Advice
June 26, 2010 by David

We have been adding content to http://hiccups.org/ including tips about easy cures for hiccups, especially involving baby hiccups, since hiccups in babies could be a serious medical condition. Babies often get hiccups from swallowing too much air when feeding, a common occurrence with babies and infants. If baby hiccups seem too frequent or serious, moms can experiment with baby feeding methods discussed on the hiccups.org site, so less air is swallowed when feeding. If baby hiccups seem too frequent or serious, moms may consider experimenting by buying and using quality breast pumps.
It’s likely bottle feeding of breast milk obtained from using breast pumps will result in less air being swallowed by your baby vs. direct from breast feeding. However, that sometimes can be reversed as each baby and baby feeding situation is different. Sucking too hard or eating a lot can make hiccups worse. It helps to burp the baby often during the feeding.
Older children may get hiccups from drinking too much carbonated beverages or eating too much too fast, especially spicy foods. An upset or too-full stomach can lead to hiccups. Hiccups can hurt, but are not normally harmless. And they don’t last very long. However, since your kids health is so important to you if young children get frequent or severe hiccups we suggest you take the child to the doctor for a check-up.
Even though we have been working on hiccups.org and adding tips and misc content, but it still needs much more web-content. Does anyone have any hiccup cures or tips they could share with us for posting on the hiccups organization site?
We would appreciate any comments you have about Hiccups – which feedback we could also add to our new web site as we are looking for hiccups tips and personal feedback to expand the hiccups.org web site, which site you can visit by going to hiccups.org now, or clicking-on the picture…
Starting a Nonprofit Charitable Organization

Have you always thought about or wanted to leave the world a better place than you found it by starting a NonProfit Charitable Organization? A nonprofit charitable organization is a corporation with a main objective in support of issues or matters of private interest, or public concern (such as arts, charities, charitable work, education, research, politics, religion, or some other work) for non-commercial purposes.
There are a few different primary types of non-profits, one of them being a 501(c)(3), which is exempt from income tax and possibly also real estate property taxes, and able to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions. While it’s usually beneficial to consult with an attorney who is experienced in the area of nonprofit and charitable law to help avoid mistakes sometimes made when they trying to incorporate a nonprofit on their own, many people have been successfully established a non-profit on their own.
We recently finished redesigning our CharitableOrganizations.com web site, which is a domain name we have owned for 11-years, since 1999. It’s a non-profit’s guide about how to successfully establish a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Charitable corporation.
If anyone can suggest site improvements or relevant new content additions it would be appreciated if you posted any ideas.
We would appreciate any comments you have about charitable organizations and non-profits – which feedback we could also get permission to add to our site as we are looking for charity personal feedback to expand the charitable organizations website, which site you can visit by going to Charitable Organizations site now, or clicking-on the picture.
Alzheimer’s Disease a Very Sad Medical Condition

One additional web site about Alzheimer’s Disease has been completed (but we are still looking to add more content. Do you have any dementia related content we can use?).
A lot of people do not realize Alzheimer’s is more severe than only getting Dementia since Alzheimers is the 7th leading cause of death. The early stages of Alzheimer’s involve symptoms associated with memory loss. Alzheimer’s Disease is a Sad and Severe Medical Condition which unfortunately is not curable at this time. However, thanks to new medical research and the latest Alzheimer’s drugs Alzheimers Disease can be treated and at least slowed-down.
Those affected with Alzheimers may have a difficult time remembering what day of the week, or even the month or year it is. They may find themselves losing items more frequently than normal, forgetting about events, or confused and disoriented in familiar places.
Somewhat strangely and also ironically, old memories are not effected in the early stages of Alzheimers. An affected person will recognize old friends and family, but may not have any clear memory of recent events and personal interactions.
We would appreciate any comments you have about Alzhheimer’s – which feedback we could also add to our new web site as we are looking for Alzheimer’s and Dementia personal feedback to expand the Alzheimers.biz site, which site you can visit by going to http://alzheimers.biz/ now.

One more web site (a small site so far) is now online. However, we need more relevant site content for http://indexequityfunds.com/ – We are looking for index funds, annuity, investing, options and stock trading personal feedback to expand the IndexEquityFunds.com web site. If you or someone you know can make some good and relevant content (which does not need to be professionally written) we can add to the site (with credit to the author and a link -if wanted). Your assistance will be appreciated.
Index Equity Funds are an excellent way to invest for the long-term. Warren Buffet talked about index equity funds on a recent Today Show interview with Matt Lauer. We have that segment of the “Today Show” interview located at our indexequityfund.com web site, found about 1/3 of the way down the main-page. You can visit our new website by going to Index Equity Funds now, or clicking-on the image below. Thank you.
Do Websites & Traffic Add Major Value to Prices?
May 24, 2010 by David
Filed under Domain Development, Domain Sales & Prices, Domains & Websites, Making Money, Search Engine Optimization, Traffic & Revenue, Website & Domain Issues
There has been discussion on domain-name forums and blogs about developed websites adding significant value to domain names, and also making the domains easier to sell plus sell for a higher price. Agree to a degree, a developed web site with traffic is of high overall value. However, with that said, based on hands-on experience, I can say end-users rarely if ever care about the traffic your domain or its website gets, and in fact don’t ask for any statistics. Even if you offer them your stats, they don’t want to see it.
In view if the above I am unfortunately somewhat dubious about a developed website (with good traffic and typeins too) being more appealing to end-user buyers and the price they will pay for the domain, at least much beyond intrinsic value. Potential end-user buyers may actually be a bit negative about an existing web site and as a result its pre-branding.
Please note that my comments do not indicate I am negative about developed websites, or do not greatly value traffic. The exact opposite is true, since I have a number of developed sites which I am very happy with, most of which get good search-engine traffic, enjoy the benefits of high SEO rankings, plus receive natural typeins (from Internet users like President Barack Obama, pictured below, likely looking at a health website)…
Is It Still Possible to Register Domains with Value?
May 23, 2010 by David
Filed under Domains & Websites, Making Money, Money Matters, Search Engine Optimization, Traffic & Revenue, Website & Domain Issues
Is it possible to freshly register domain names of value (which may not necessarily make you rich) but have some value, and can make you at least a bit of money?
Rarely a week passes where we do not stumble upon at least a few unreg’d names which I am sure would get natural traffic plus search traffic too. We can’t possibly register them all (there are simply too many good ones) but when we do register the available domains there are often typein visitors to the temporary webpage right away.
Anyone else run across good targeted keyword unregistered domains lately?
