Alzheimer’s Disease a Very Sad Medical Condition

One additional web site about Alzheimer’s Disease has been completed (but we are still looking to add more content. Do you have any dementia related content we can use?).

A lot of people do not realize Alzheimer’s is more severe than only getting Dementia since Alzheimers is the 7th leading cause of death. The early stages of Alzheimer’s involve symptoms associated with memory loss. Alzheimer’s Disease is a Sad and Severe Medical Condition which unfortunately is not curable at this time. However, thanks to new medical research and the latest Alzheimer’s drugs Alzheimers Disease can be treated and at least slowed-down.

Those affected with Alzheimers may have a difficult time remembering what day of the week, or even the month or year it is. They may find themselves losing items more frequently than normal, forgetting about events, or confused and disoriented in familiar places.

Somewhat strangely and also ironically, old memories are not effected in the early stages of Alzheimers. An affected person will recognize old friends and family, but may not have any clear memory of recent events and personal interactions.

We would appreciate any comments you have about Alzhheimer’s – which feedback we could also add to our new web site as we are looking for Alzheimer’s and Dementia personal feedback to expand the Alzheimers.biz site, which site you can visit by going to http://alzheimers.biz/ now.
